What Is A Stock Index Point?

A Stock Index point is simply the measure of movement in the various stock indexes - for example, the Dow, the Russell 2000, the S&P or the Nasdaq.

The index moves up or down a certain number of points each day, and our job as traders is to try to capture as many of those elusive points as possible :-)
